How do I get my lifted truck to ride smoother?

I have custom springs from a local spring shop. And I have 10 new skyjacker shocks all the way around. If I do a four link with air bags or coil overs will their be a lot of travel in the suspension?…

Thanks for the info, your truck is bad ass as tool. The shot with the American flag and the old barn is one in a million. I have 46 in tall michelin zxl 425 tires on 22.5 rims and I have an 18 inch l…

I know Topguncustomz just came out with progressive rate lift springs. Most lift springs just lift with one rate the progressive rate takes less to compress after the lift height so it is supposed to ride smoother.

I put some bilstien 5100 shocks on my 99 super duty. Made one heck of a difference.

The design of the springs determines greatly how a truck rides. Thinner multiple leaves ride better than thicker leaves, but many places don't do that. I'm not saying how your's are built, but it's one possible cause. With 10 shocks I'm guessing the…

Air Springs won't help you out much if they are just added to the existing suspension in a helper style setup. Running full air ride with good shocks will make a huge improvement, but that requires a completely different suspension system with 4 lin…

Road salt sucks!!!

Man, I got a ton of work to do underneath my truck. Everything I had painted and sealed for winter has turned to surface rust. I spent the whole weekend wire wheeling and painting. All because of that brine sh!t they use up here.

BIG TRUCK MANIFESTO

Up here in pa. (one of the most corrupt states in the union, if you don't believe me take a look at our taxes, then take a look at our roads.) we pay more for diesel. How can that be when diesel costs the company less to make? I don't know about other states but pa. is a rotten apple. Every year right before winter they repave the roads only to have them destroyed by snow plows and excessive salting. The road crews tear up sections of the highways and just leave them that way. I was watching a m… Continue

I just built a 5 inch exhaust all the way out to duals. There's two chome turn downs out the back that I got from the mack dealer. Sounds wicked but I don't know if I'm finished yet.

Dude that truck is sweeeet!! Most likely takin my kid to bloomsburg! QUOTE:(one of the most corrupt states in the union, if you don't believe me take a look at our taxes, then take a look at our roads.) we pay more for diesel. Every year right before winter they repave the roads only to have them destroyed by snow plows and excessive salting. The road crews tear up sections of the highways and just leave them that way. I was watching a motocross race from California, and when the track got ruff, the announcer compared it to the roads in pa. And on a grander scale I'm watching the country I love driven into the ground by liberals that are already rich, telling us to help pay for illegal alien medical benifits. If I didn't have a job myself, I couldn't have benefits at all and I was born here. If Obama's slogan is wealth redistribution, let him use his own money for that. I built my truck and drive it daily to show that there are still some of us that are Americans and proud of it. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave, and I believe these trucks embody the spirit that made our country great. They stand apart from the norm and they celebrate the fact that only in America can you express yourself anyway you want. These trucks to me represent the strength and ingenuaty of the American people, we are larger than life and we shouldn't be ashamed of it. So to all of you still driving giants, shiny or rusty, new or old, rich or pour, hold on to them, and be proud that you stand out from everyone else! " DUDE >>> YOU NAILED IT!!! X2
