I have been following the Jamborees since 1989 I must be getting old!! I love trucks and jeeps so much I finally got to open a shop in southern IL our name is Stearns Sales and Offroad in Energy IL. Missouri Madness

The third leg of the 2008 4 Wheel Jamboree season wrapped up another fun-filled weekend this past weekend at the 11th Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Ozark 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals presented by TOYO TIRES held at the Missouri Entertainment & Events Center in Springfield, MO. Southern Good Times

Our second stop in the 2008 4-Wheel Jamboree season was packed with good times and plenty of competition excitement. Outstanding weather was the norm for the weekend, however the show finished with the Mickey Thompson Tires Tough Trucks® and the Monster Truck Thunder Drags playing in the rain and greasy slick track conditions Sunday afternoon.

What can I do to improve my ride?

On the flight home from Texas I thought of my weekend and the hundreds of questions I am asked each event weekend. As the judging supervisor for Family Events the number one question I am asked is “how can I improve my ride”. Unfortunately I am usually asked this question on Saturday afternoon while I am judging. Obviously this is not the best time to ask or answer this question; time is at an absolute minimum on Saturday since this is the only day for judging. Sunday is much better and I am ava… Continue

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Update on Bronco...well PROBLEM SOLVED! After numerous test drives, we found that we werent getting gas to the motor. Tore all the lines out, gas tank and carb. Came to the conclusion that while the bronco had sat in some guys yard for a few years, the tank became rusty and was flaking off to almost a sand like consistancy. The carb was pretty nasty. So he cleaned it up, blew out the lines, flushed out the tank and when we hooked it back up, went for a 30 minute test drive! This time I wasn't be… Continue

Another night in the garage!

I ride around on 39.5s and for some reason when we put them on this winter, we noticed a HUGE steering issue~ so bad that I haven't really driven it much except to pull a plow truck out of the 3 ft of snow we got in March! It sucks because I so want to show off what I have spent so much time rebuilding! Hey, I'm new here. I am 15 years old and I own two trucks. I own a 1998 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 454 in it. It has 23 inches of total lift and sits on 49 inch Iroks. I bought in 3 years ago and just lifted it this past summer when I was only 14 years old. We put a Dana 44 front axle under it and put 12 inch leaf springs with custom 8 inch dropped hangers. It also has a 3 inch body lift. My other truck is a 2001 Dodge 2500 with a 24 Valve Cummins Turbo Diesel. It is just stock. Everyone thinks… Continue

Hey, I'm new here, but I want everybody to know I'm a Ford Fanatic. I hate Chevy, but I have to live with it, so I don't show it and I keep the peace, unless somebody else starts first, then I'm all in. That's why I can still be friends with Chevy fans. This is cool

Family Events has really gotten their stuff together on bringing the enthusiest truck world into the 21st century and into the cyber world. I hope their server is ready for all the cool video and pics they are going to get from us this year. I also hope they monitor the blog to get our ideas, questions and concerns. Let's make sure to post some positive stuff too, so they keep looking. I figure it has got to be hard to hear nothing but complaints all the time. Out! Continue
