This is map of the fairgrounds...maybe we can decide for them what areas we want to be in. It looks like we would register across from Gate 11 like usual and enter at Gate 16.

Maybe if we did this for the parade route:
south to the road behind the grandstands
west to the horse barns
north to Gate 10
east to Gate 11

We still don't have everything finished on the map. We ARE interested in hearing what have to say as far as the cruise route. We'll make an announcement here at Truck Show Nation when the map gets posted.

i think the cruise route mentioned by steve jackson sounds pretty good. although it will kinda leave out anyone who parks on the other side of the bldgs in front. the only thing i would change is the registration area. i thought it was great having it in the fairgrounds on pavement last year. that was one good thing that came out of last years event. i also liked that, once we were registered, we could enter on gate 6. that was another improvment from years before. thanks for keeping us involved in the show.

I think the cruise route should be as big as possible, making less congestion on saturday. I sure hope this new plan means were back on the grass this year, last year was not my favorite, being on the pavement. But I understand why, because of a few knuckle heads that had to spin around on the wet grass to show everybody there truck is "awesome" . The rest of us that respect the property and appreciate the chance were given to use it had to suffer. I think this new site is great, and I am very glad that they are listening to are opinions. Keep up the great work guys. with that being said , please put us back on the grass.

The cruise route will cover the entire Fairgrounds, but the gates, etc have not been finalized yet, but the ENTIRE grounds will be cruised!!

That sounds really good. It would stink to get stuck in traffic at $4 per gallon. I would be interested in seeing the layout on a map.

they say the entire fairgrounds will be cruised this year! old side and new side....which means we get to park in the grassy areas and not the hot parking lot. sounds real good to me cause last year was a little too hot for my liking. but we are truck junkies and would have suffered through it again if we had too. lol

It's great that whole fairgrounds is opened up this year. Watching the trucks cruise around all weekend has always been a great time, but something was different last year. Too much traffic deadlock, not mention the pains of getting to and from where the judging lanes were. A couple of years ago the cruising route was around the outside of the fairgrounds(at least the north side at that time) and there were ways to get to and from judging without sitting in traffic for 2-4 hours. It worked almost the same way in Lima last year, too. Maybe except for 6-7 hours on Saturday, during Judging, everything could be cruised and then select lanes could be used for the judged vehicles?

It's about time we get more area. Every year the show gets bigger but our allowed space gets smaller. This year however there will be 3 less trucks. A few of us are just driving down in the f-250, it gets a little better milage.

I know I'm ready for the BIG show...hopefully we get to see a map showing the cruise route before we go.

i hope that they take into consideration the problem for those that are trying to get through judging is there any way to have a dedicated run straight to the judging lines FOR JUDGING TRUCKS ONLY, and then funnel it back into the main crusing line???

i think that the way registration was setup last year sucked.... to much gridlock in that area and it made it WAY to difficult to get into the show and to get loaded up on sunday

registration was way better when it wasnt in the fair grounds, it was way better organized except for the JACKASS'S that though it was necessary to tear it all up over there. but weather makes or breaks that though
